(Lakeland, FL) -- Not every entreprenurial idea goes as planned. Jim Belcher bought a 1982 Cadillac hearse with the intention of using it to start a cadaver transport business, but business was kind of dead. So, according to TheLedger.com, he decided to use the hearse to start selling hot dogs at the side of Kathleen and Spivey Roads in Lakeland, Florida. "Hellacious Hot Dogs" sells dogs with names like the "Stiff," "The Undertaker" and "The Procession." Blecher says, quote, "People see this and they want to know what's going on over here. It's unreal how it works, but it works. I'm pretty popular. It's not because of the hearse, it's the food." Sometimes, for kicks, Belcher dons a black hat, apron, and gloves to look like a funeral home worker. It's not such a stretch for this man, who grew up in a family-run funeral home. A plastic skeleton hangs over his hot dog cart and his business cards say, "Eat & Rest In Peace."
